Parents requesting special consideration for placing a student for the 2026-2027 school year are asked to answer the questions below. Principals, counselors, and teachers will use the information you provide to determine the best House placement for the student. All requests will be considered; however, the balance of classes in terms of course placements, gender, ability, behavioral concerns, etc., is the highest priority, and the final decision for placement rests with the principal.
This form must be submitted by April 30th to be considered in placement decisions.
Please be aware that: We cannot honor requests for a specific teacher or house, or requests to keep friends together, because student placements are based on academic and program needs, and because houses may have new or different teachers from year to year.
No changes in placement will be made after placements are established.
